Gartner adds Behavioral Signals in 8 Hype Cycles for its best-in-class Emotion AI solutions

According to the Gartner reports, “Emotion AI is considered transformational as it turns human behavioral attributes into data that will have a large impact on human-machine interface (HMI).” Behavioral Signals was mentioned in the 2022 Hype Cycle for Customer Experience Analytics, Hype Cycle for Natural Language Technologies, Hype Cycle for CRM Sales Technology, and Hype Cycle for Customer Experience Analytics, among several others, all under the Emotional AI and emerging technologies section. Annette Jump describes emotional AI as having a transformational benefit to users, with only 1% adoption. This offers a huge opportunity for vendors to capture market share and companies to upgrade their digital transformation with Emotion AI from Voice, thus investing in better customer behavioral signals predictions, improved customer satisfaction, and higher revenue outcomes. We’ve reached a turning point in emotion AI technology adoption as we provide safer, more robust, and more accurate solutions to understand human behavior,” says Rana Gujral, CEO of Behavioral Signals. “As the emerging industry matures, data becomes stronger, and more awareness is created by reports such as this, the adoption speed and understanding of the benefits of systems to act more sympathetically will naturally increase.”

Behavioral Signal Processing is based on over a decade’s worth of award-winning and patented research and automatically detects information that is encoded in the human voice from audio to measure the quality of human interaction. Our OliverAPI is built with this technology (BSP), allowing companies to introduce Emotion AI into their applications to offer a rich variety of emotional and behavioral recognition metrics.
The Gartner report says about Emotion AI,  “Machines will become more “humanized” as they can detect sentiments in many different contexts. Furthermore, applying deep learning to computer vision or audio-based systems to analyze emotions in real-time has spawned new use cases for customer experience enhancements, employee wellness, and many other areas”. The reports further state that “Strongest adoption is currently happening in the context of contact centers where voice-based emotion analysis supports multiple use cases such as real-time analysis on voice conversations, emotion detection in chat conversations, emotional chatbots and more.”
